HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to work with our client in Lambeth.

Job Details:

As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will work as part of a small team collecting household waste and recycling across the Brixton and Lambeth areas.

Location: Lambeth / Brixton
Shift: Afternoon, 14:00pm–22:00pm
Hours: Minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per shift
Working pattern: Minimum 5 days per week
Duration: Ongoing work
Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive an HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
Work as part of a team to collect household waste and recycling.
Support loading and unloading activities, including the handling of street bins.
Follow designated collection routes and adhere to health and safety procedures.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when working in the community.
Essential Requirements:

Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
Minimum of 1 year’s HGV driving experience.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
