Senior Legal Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to work for our client in Lambeth and surrounding areas.

This role is crucial in providing exceptional support to our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
Coordinate communication between clients, courts, and other relevant parties
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys
Draft and file documents with various courts and agencies
Prepare trial materials, exhibits, and evidence for legal proceedings
Hours Per Week: 35, Full time

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a legal environment
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm
Proficient in legal research tools and document management systems
Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
