Each year we publish a transparency statement in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 which sets out the steps taken by us to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains during that year.
Our most recent statement is dated 7th May 2024 and details the actions taken by us during 2023 as well as our commitments for 2024 and can be accessed below
Slavery and Human Trafficking are human rights abuses and have no place in our business or in our supply chain. In line with our Purpose and our Values, we are dedicated to operating our business responsibly and committed to the highest standards of conduct.
Our statement has been published in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the Act) and highlights the steps taken by BBS Recruitment and its UK operating companies to mitigate the risk of modern slavery within our business and supply chain. The statement sets out the steps we have taken to mitigate modern slavery and the steps we intend to take next year.
Bribery & Corruption Policy
BBS Recruitment is committed to conducting its business ethically and honestly, recognising that bribery and corruption can harm its reputation and client trust. As a UK-based company, it adheres to the Bribery Act 2010 and recognises bribery and corruption as criminal offences in many countries where it operates.
The company maintains a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, ensuring that all business dealings are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
BBS Recruitment is dedicated to implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery and corruption, ensuring transparency and fairness in all relationships and operations.
Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking
The BBS Recruitment 2024 Modern Slavery Statement, issued in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, outlines the measures taken up to 29 February 2024 to combat modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.
BBS Recruitment is dedicated to addressing the risks of modern slavery and ensuring ethical practices throughout our organisation. We promote inclusion and diversity, opposing any unfair or discriminatory treatment, as such actions contradict our core values as a recruitment agency.
Equal Opportunities
BBS Recruitment is committed to providing equal opportunities for all staff and applicants. Employment decisions are based on merit and the legitimate business needs of the organisation.
The employer does not discriminate based on race, gender, disability, religion, age, or any other protected characteristic under the laws of England, Wales, and Scotland.
Our aim is to create a work environment where all staff can reach their potential without fear of discrimination, harassment, or victimisation.
Flexible Working Policy
BBS Recruitment is dedicated to an equal opportunities workplace and supporting employees’ work-life balance. This policy ensures that eligible staff can formally request changes to their working patterns, with a clear process for making such requests.
Managers are responsible for accommodating flexible working requests where possible. Employees who don’t meet formal criteria can make informal requests, also covered in the policy.
It outlines employees’ statutory rights and ensures no one faces disadvantage for requesting flexible working. This policy may be updated as needed to align with legislation.
