We are currently recruiting for an experienced Youth Justice Case Worker to work for our client, Achieving for Children, in Kingston upon Thames & Richmond and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities of Youth Justice Case Worker:

• To manage a caseload of young people referred by Police or ordered by the Court.
• To complete Asset+ and PDAT assessments to identify risks and needs.
• To develop and deliver intervention plans to prevent re-offending.
• To support children, young people, and families with a range of needs linked to offending behaviour.
• To promote safeguarding, welfare, and positive outcomes including education and emotional wellbeing.
• To work with families and wider networks to address risk factors and support desistance.
• To attend Youth Court and act as Court Officer where required.
• To work in partnership with multi-agency teams to deliver effective services.
• To maintain accurate case records and reports.
• To contribute to a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.

Working Hours:

• 36 hours per week
• Minimum 3 days in the office

Requirements for Youth Justice Case Worker:

• Experience working in Youth Justice or similar setting.
• Experience completing Asset+ and PDAT assessments.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and youth offending.
• Ability to manage a caseload and deliver interventions.
• Experience working with multi-agency teams.
• Good communication skills.
