All BBS drivers are tested for tachograph and transport knowledge so you can be sure that they are fully competent and are able to comply with Drivers Hours and WTD Regulations.
We also obtain a reference so that we can check the driver’s credentials, experience and work history before we place them on assignments. We also ensure that the driver has the right to work in the UK.
At BBS all drivers complete a test designed to measure their attitude to safety. As a member of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation), we adhere to the code of practice set out by them and so you can rely on the fact that we have adopted the most stringent of practices & procedures.
However, the biggest difference between BBS and our competitors is our commitment to carrying out regular DVLA licence checks. All BBS drivers have their licence checked direct with the DVLA every 3 months. This means you can be sure that the person in charge of your expensive equipment and cargo does not have any serious convictions and is not banned from driving.
